Northfield Farms is located 10 minutes west of the perimeter highway and 25 minutes from Winnipeg's International airport. Easy access from #1 west (TransCanada) highway or #2 highway.

Facility:

* 80' x 200' heated indoor arena with seating area for viewing

* outdoor grass ring with bank, devil's dike (grob), liverpools and ditches

* attached barn with 30 box stalls, heated tack room with individual lockers and bandage boxes, wash stall with hot water

* heated and air conditioned lobby with excellent arena view

* large turnout paddocks

Coaching:

We train horses and riders at all levels and compete in all hunter/jumper divisions including Open Jumper. We offer a unique blend of North American and Classical European methods for developing hunters and jumpers

Northfield riders and horses have won numerous provincial and CEF championships ( equitation, hack, hunter and jumper) and have achieved many wins and ribbons at major shows including the Spruce Meadows larger tournaments.

Hermann & Marcy Schweizer are Canadian Equestrian Federation (CEF)
Certified Level II Coaches. Marcy's coaching expertise was recognized in 1993 with the Manitoba Horse Council Coach of the Year award. Herman's riding career started in Germany where he trained and competed in all disciplines.

Boarding:
Comprehensive care which includes: customized feeding and turnout, regular veterinarian and farrier services, therapeutic care, eg. bandaging.

Horse/Rider Development
Consulting for horse selection and purchase, training, coaching for all levels of hunter, jumper and equitation, occasional clinics with international caliber clinicians.

Showing:
Entry administration, transportation to and from shows, supervision and coaching at regional and national horse shows including Spruce Meadows tournaments.
